This is a multiplayer board game that runs as a Discord Activity and in a web browser. It is run by its developer (“we”). This page explains what the game uses about you and why.
If you play inside Discord
When you launch the game, Discord asks you to let it share your basic account details (the identify permission). We use your Discord user ID, display name and avatar to show who is at the table and to give you your seat back if you reconnect. We don't get your email address, your messages, your friends list or your voice.
The game checks with Discord that you are really in the Activity you joined, so everyone in a voice channel lands at the same table.
Other people at your table see your display name, avatar and everything you do in the game.
What we keep
Nothing, once the table closes. A game lives only in the game server's memory while people are playing, and a table is cleared a short while after the last person leaves. We don't keep accounts, scores or histories.
If you play in a browser
Browser tables need no account. The name you type and your moves live only on the game server while the table is open.
Stored on your device
Your browser keeps your settings (sound, graphics quality, camera and similar), the name you last used, and a random key that lets you get your seat back if you reconnect. You can clear them at any time through your browser or Discord.
Logs and error reports
Our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs. If the game hits an error in your browser, it sends a short technical description of the error to those logs. They don't contain your Discord details.
Who processes the data
Discord provides sign-in and the Activity itself under Discord's privacy policy. We don't sell your data, show ads or use any analytics or tracking services.
Children
The game is meant for people old enough to use Discord under Discord's own rules. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
